I’m from Folsom, Louisiana and I’m thirty years old. I’m a dad to Skylar Burris who is seven years old and in the 2nd grade.

I graduated from SUNY Maritime in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies with a 3rd Mate Unlimited license.

I served as Regimental Duty Officer and Office Assistant to Captain Catie Hanft, Commandant of Cadets at SUNY Maritime College.

I was an active member of the Cultural Club. I also served as President of the Propeller Club.

My current employment is at Tide Water Marine Offshore as Junior Dynamic Positioning Officer holding a 2nd Mate Unlimited license.

My passion is to serve people and carry out the vision of increasing the awareness of the Maritime industry.
