Denalin Randal

Originally From Binghamton New York, I was accepted into SUNY Maritime College through the EOP program that was headed by Tardis Johnson. I obtained a Facilities Engineering Degree and the Coast Guard 3rd Assistant Engineers License upon graduation in 2013.

Shortly after I began my offshore career working for Hornbeck Offshore. Initially hired by the Engineering Department, after a year I was promoted to Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) where I worked on several vessels.

In 2016, I left the company and went to work for Bouchard Transportation as an Assistant Engineer.

In 2018, I transitioned to a shoreside Engineering role as a Plant Operator working for Wheelabrator Technologies in a Biomass Power Plant in Florida. After a year, I was offered a promotion to a larger facility in Connecticut as a Shift Supervisor and I relocated back to the northeast. After a year in this role, I was offered a management role as the facilities Maintenance Manager in February 2020. In this role I managed the Facilities R&M Budget along with Capital projects.

In August 2022, I took an increased responsibility role with Avangrid as the Manager of Gas Distribution and Design for Southern Connecticut Gas Company. In this role I manage the operating Company’s Capital Budget For all Cast Iron, & Plastic Piping.
