Captain Alex Schizas

Captain Alex Schizas (1958-2006) was honored in 2011. He was a graduate of SUNY Maritime College. After graduation, he shipped out as a deck officer through AMO, ultimately becoming an Unlimited Master Mariner. He was a long standing OBMG member as well as a member of the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association.
