Edward A. Lenard

Edward_A_LenardEdward A. Lenard currently works for Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tennessee as a Regional Engineer. He is responsible for  over seeing the Environment of Care/Life Safety compliance for The Joint Commission as well as infrastructure projects Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing /  Roofing)  at 36 healthcare facilites within his division. He also performs several environment of care/life safety mock surveys yearly in other divisions.

Edward previously worked as the Assistant Vice President of Operations and Maintenance at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City. Edward oversaw all aspects of the engineering, operations, maintenance (housekeeping) of the Intrepid Museum complex and Pier.

Edward also worked at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for approximately 10 years. He held various positions at MSKCC which included HVAC Controls Technician, Plant Operations Supervisor, Project Management Associate and Manager of Plant Operations.

He graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Facilities Engineering and a Third Assistant Engineers, Unlimited Tonnage/Horsepower Coast Guard License.

Edward commissioned into the United States Navy Reserve upon graduation and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant in March 2007.

Edward currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
